      His Sunshine and Joy

Looking at the beautiful pendant he had commissioned for his beloved Edith, the Marquis of Exeter was filled with joy.  He has always considered himself a man of duty, sacrificing his personal happiness for the advancement of the crown.  He had spent years building up his estate, preparing it for the turn of the century.  Nothing turned his eye from this all important work until he met her.  His Edith was pure sunshine.  She brought warmth and light into his dutiful life.  On this night, the eve of his wedding, he planned to give his bride-to-be the monogrammed pendant he affectionately created, which would be a constant reminder to her of his undying love.
