The “L” monogram is the focal point of this pendant. Sourced from an antique, hand-embroidered linen batiste handkerchief, circa 1935, this pendant beautifully displays the delicate intricacies of the linen. The swirling designs and stitch patterns bring this bit of silver to life. The attached bail allows this lovely piece to be worn with a midsized chain or beaded necklace.

A Magical Evening
Riding in a open sleigh through the snow-covered fields under the twinkling stars, Lillian snuggles in closer to her Beau. It has been a Christmas to remember and her parents have given her special permission to go on this late night sleigh ride. Topping a hill, the sled slows to a stop. Beau helps Lillian out of the sleigh and leads her into a covering of trees. She looks up and gasps. A table has been made up out of a fallen tree with a cream blanket from her house and there are fresh poinsettias sitting in a vase. Curious, Lillian steps closer to the makeshift table and sees her favorite embroidered handkerchief which displays her initial. As she reaches to pick it up wondering why it was there, Beau quickly grabs it first. Startled, Lillian looks up to where he would be and notices he is down on one knee. As her hands start to flutter to her face, Beau begins to unwrap the handkerchief. Nestled securely inside is his grandmother's wedding ring that he is now offering to Lillian as he asks her to join her life to his in marriage. With a single glistening tear that Beau wipes away with her handkerchief, Lillian whispers, "Yes".
