Agent Maxwell, At Your Service
Shrieking, I jumped as two men fell into the sleeper cabin I occupied. They were shouting and fighting, and one man had a gun drawn. Shrinking back into the bed, I looked out the small train window. There was no way out of this room; there was no way off of the train because we were passing through the Swiss Alps. I clutched the pendant I had only just received from my fiancé at the Bahnhof in Heidelburg and instinctively raised my eyes heavenward. Just then, the handsome man in the suit knocked out the man holding the gun. He looked at me, asked my name, and if I was all right. “Cathleen Victoria Cavanaugh," I said, "and yes, I seem to be fine. And your name, sir?" "Maxwell, Agent Maxwell at your service, ma’am."

This pendant features the monogram, “CVC” from the book, Industrial Monograms, by Martin Gerlach, of Vienna Austria, published in 1881. The centralized monogram is accented with a beautifully detailed border and eye-catching shape. To contrast the intricacies of the border, this pendant is paired with a pavé diamond detachable bail that can accommodate mid-sized to large chains or gemstone necklaces.
