Sneaking a Peek Into Her Future

Quickly, she wraps up the necklace containing her grandma Gail’s initials and places it back in the handkerchief drawer.  She can hear her grandmother coming up the stairs and down the hallway.  She hastily grabs a book and heads to the bay window.  Grandmother Gail enters the room and asks, “Now, what are you doing in here?” Little Elsa looks up innocently and says, “Reading”.  Grandma Gail laughs and says, “Mischief is written all over your face.”  Elsa then admits to having been looking at the necklace.  Grandma Gail smiles and says, “That is okay sweetie.  One day it will be yours.”
