Vlad the Impaler
Barely able to contain her enthusiasm or sit, Valerie stands to collect her luggage and make her way to the dining car to be ready for departure from the train. Holding the locked case tightly she still cannot believe she has finally gained access to the restricted library in Romania to look into the private diaries of Vlad the Impaler. The contents of the locked case...a monogrammed pendant that has been passed down through the generations in her family drew her to this location. After extensive research, Valerie had strong suspicions and now hoped to confirm her theory that the pendant proved her to be a member of a familial line of Vlad and his rumored mistress Mena. She hoped by looking at the private diaries to confirm that Vlad and Mena had a daughter, naming her Nadia, and that after her birth had commissioned the pendant in the child's honor.
